Annual Health Fair
3 John 1:2 “Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”
As part of our community outreach program, our church organizes and hosts a free annual health fair and blood drive.
The aim of this activity is to present the Gospel of Jesus in a practical and meaningful way, that is, taking care of not just the spiritual health of the members of the Gastonia Community but to attend to their physical health as well.
Each year we invite various medical personnel and health service related personnel to offer and provide screenings (blood pressure checks, sugar test, heart rate and may more) demonstrations and to give suggestions to enable people to begin practicing healthier lifestyles. We also offer community members the opportunity to learn more about the love of our Savior, Jesus Christ and about the services of our church. We are also always happy to pray with and for anyone who so desires.
At the last health fair many of the community members visited the fair and accessed the services provided. This year we are praying that the event will experience significant growth. We are happy to serve you our brothers and sisters from all walks of life (irrespective of your beliefs) and we eagerly look forward to be of service. All are welcome.
